Recycling Tips:

Please keep in mind that contamination of recyclables (such as mixing types of materials, dirty material, etc.) may cause a portion of the material to be discarded instead of being recycled.  Proper preparation of your recyclables helps to ensure that the material will be recycled into usable products.  Please keep recyclables as dry and clean as possible. 

Most recycling facilities accept the following items:

• # 1 Plastic Bottles (PET) Ex. soda and water bottles, etc.
• # 2 Natural Plastic Bottles (HDPE) Ex. milk jugs, etc.
• # 2 Colored Plastic Bottles (HDPE) Ex. laundry detergent jugs, juice jugs, etc.
• Newspaper
• Corrugated Cardboard
• Chipboard/boxboard
• Mixed Paper (junk mail, office paper, etc.)
• Phone Books
• Magazines
• Aluminum cans
• Steel cans
• Glass bottles
